About the Author

Feels good to call myself an ‘author’, even if it is of a personal blog. Which clearly conveys that I love writing. I guess, it is simply that it is this medium I am most comfortable expressing myself in. Not to mean I am an introvert or suffer cold-feet when facing an audience. Just that the written word seems more powerful to me than the spoken ones.

I love literature, which is almost a given by the name of my blog. Quite a few posts here might suggest that I am more of a philosophy reader, which though, is not true. I do think about the ‘big questions’ and a lot of literature that I read trigger various ideas which help me think better. My ‘philosophy’ reading and knowledge is limited to what I am pushed towards while reading fiction. In any case, does genre really matter?

Professionally, I am a lawyer mostly dealing with Commercial Arbitrations. I do not hate my job and niether am I obsessed. Though, of all professions I could have chosen, I believe this is the one I can enjoy the most. Except of course, the dream of being a published author someday. However, that dream, as of now, remains a dream. No complaints, though.

I live in India.

 About the Blog

This blog started one month before the final semester exams for my law degree. During the mundane task of preparing for the exams, I started visiting literary blogs, as I had no time for literature as such. That’s when I decided it was time for me to have one of my own.

This is not a literary blog or a book blog per se. It is more of a blog by a reader and lover of literature who thinks a lot about what he reads. Therefore, this blog basically records my thoughts on literature, authors, books, and ideas that they have successfully implanted in me.

  9. With a title like Book Crazy I thought you might want to know about a blog by NY Times best selling author Charlotte Hughes called Group Therapy. She is accenting her craziness because her new series centers on a psychologist and her zany patients. This blog is at:
